Sherri Manning, Coach, Consultant & Chief People Officer
I’m a Chief People Officer who believes the strongest companies are built on cultures of clarity, accountability, and care. For over two decades—from Fortune 100s to SaaS and fintech startups—I’ve led people strategies that scale with intention and drive impact. I’ve guided organizations through IPOs, privatization, M&A, global expansion, and transformation—building systems where high performance and humanity go hand-in-hand.
I’m passionate about designing workplaces where people feel seen, supported, and energized to do their best work. What drives me now is helping businesses—and their boards—build cultures that grow stronger through disruption. I believe People Strategy *is* business strategy. And when done well, it’s a competitive advantage.
My background includes leading HR functions across compensation, talent, executive development, and HR tech. I’ve built and rebuilt HR teams, served as a trusted partner to Boards, CEOs, and coached senior leaders through change. I’m known for marrying operational rigor with cultural insight—balancing metrics with meaning.

Sherri Manning, Explorer & Speaker
Explorer, conservation advocate, and artist with a lifelong passion for studying and documenting the world’s most remote and ecologically significant regions. An experienced global traveler who has hiked, trekked, and studied diverse landscapes, from the Everest region of Nepal to the rainforests of Borneo and the volcanic terrain of Iceland. Dedicated to conservation efforts through direct fieldwork, financial contributions, and participation in leading environmental and scientific organizations, including The Explorers Club and Sea Women Expeditions.
A skilled photographer; acrylic painter; and watercolorist who regularly paints and shares vignettes of global travels, including teaching travel sketching for the Lowell Thomas 2025 Awards Celebration in Austin, Texas. Deeply engaged in expeditionary and conservation-focused initiatives, supporting projects such as the Hutan Foundation’s orangutan habitat preservation, and Mission Green’s tree canopy conservation. Passionate about blending art, storytelling, and field research to capture the beauty and fragility of the natural world.
